Frequently Asked Questions

What are your nutrition credentials?

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Licensed Dietitian (LD) with extensive experience in nutrition, athletics, coaching and performance. My recommendations are grounded in evidence-based nutrition science and translated into practical strategies athletes and families can actually use.

Who do you work with for performance nutrition?

I work with athletes, active individuals, parents, teams, schools, clubs and athletic organizations looking for practical, evidence-based nutrition strategies that support training, recovery and performance.

Is performance nutrition only for elite athletes?

No. Performance nutrition can support athletes and active individuals at different levels by helping them build practical habits around fueling, hydration, training, recovery and competition.

Do you create individualized nutrition plans for athletes?

Yes. Individual consultations can address daily fueling, training nutrition, hydration, recovery, competition days, travel and performance habits based on the athlete’s sport, schedule and goals.

Do you offer nutrition education for entire athletic teams?

Yes. As a Registered and Licensed Dietitian, I offer team nutrition education through virtual webinars and in-person workshops for schools, club teams and athletic organizations. Sessions can be customized based on the sport, age group, season and specific needs of the team.

Can you provide sessions for parents and coaches as well as athletes?

Absolutely. Parents and coaches have an enormous influence on an athlete’s food environment and habits. Sessions can be designed specifically for athletes, parents, coaches or a combination of all three.

What topics can you cover in an athletic team nutrition session?

Common topics include everyday fueling, pre- and post-training nutrition, hydration, recovery, competition-day nutrition, travel fueling and building sustainable performance habits. Content can also be customized around a team’s specific needs.
